Premium showcase terms

You accept these terms when you subscribe. Stripe's checkout page shows a required tick box that links to them. These terms are in addition to the talent terms of use.

Premium showcase is an optional paid feature for talents. It costs **the price shown when online payment opens** [including VAT where applicable; ALM's accountant to confirm].

While Premium is active and your profile is public, you get:

  • a place in the Premium showcase on the ALM Talent front page. Featured talents rotate at random each day;
  • a ★ Premium badge on your card and your profile;
  • a higher position in your categories. You are shown first in the categories you belong to.

Clients see your badge. They do not see anything about your payments.

  • Premium does not guarantee castings, bookings, income, views or enquiries. Bookings still depend on the casting.
  • Premium does not change ALM's approval rules. Your profile still needs approval and can still be hidden under the talent terms.
  • Premium does not show your contact details to anyone.

You can subscribe only when all of these are true:

  • your email address is verified;
  • your public showcase consent is switched on;
  • ALM has approved your profile for the public showcase;
  • your profile is not "out of date", meaning it was updated within the last 12 months.

If something is missing, your Premium page tells you what to do first.

  • How you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe's own secure checkout page. You can pay by card, or by Apple Pay or Google Pay where available. ALM never sees your full card number.
  • Renewal. Premium renews automatically every month on the date you first subscribed, until you cancel. Stripe or ALM emails you a receipt each month.
  • Price changes. ALM may change the price. We will tell you at least [30] days before the change applies to you. You can cancel before then.
  • How. You can cancel at any time in your ALM Talent account: go to Premium → Manage billing.
  • When it takes effect. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for. Your badge and featured place stay until then. You can resume before that date.
  • If you delete your account. Deleting your ALM Talent account cancels Premium immediately [refund position to be confirmed; see §7].
  • Your profile is hidden or out of date. Premium only shows while your profile is public. If your profile is hidden or out of date for 7 days in a row, billing pauses. It restarts when your profile is public again. [The build team will confirm exactly how the pause works in Stripe.]
  • A renewal payment fails.
    • You get an "Update your card" email, and Stripe tries the payment again.
    • Your badge stays during a 7-day grace period.
    • If payment still has not been made after the grace period, your badge and featured place are hidden until you pay.
    • If Stripe's retries all fail [up to 8 attempts over about 2 weeks], the subscription ends. Nothing else in your profile is lost.
  • A payment is disputed or charged back. The badge is removed straight away while the dispute is open.

If ALM hides your profile for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of the month or add free days, whichever you prefer."]

ALM may give Premium free of charge, for example to ambassadors. A gifted Premium shows as "Gifted" on your Premium page and runs until the date ALM sets. No payment is taken.

ALM may remove your Premium badge and cancel your subscription if you break the talent terms or these terms. Examples are misleading photos or fake details. [Refund position in this case: TBD.]

  • Changes. We may update these terms. The new version will show its date. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it applies, and you can cancel.
  • Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates [Emirate, and courts or arbitration, to be chosen by the lawyer].
