The client accepts these terms at first sign-in by ticking "I accept the client access terms on behalf of your company". Acceptance is recorded with the date, the time and the version.
In short (shown above the tick box)
These five lines are the summary from the approved mockup (line 3 updated on 2026-10-24):
- No scraping or copying the database
- No sharing this login: one session at a time
- Contact talents only through details they agree to share
- No use of photos or data to train AI
- You are responsible for the contact details you receive
1. Parties and scope
- The agreement. These terms are between [ALM Media LLC (exact registered name to be confirmed)] ("ALM"), licensed by Sharjah Media City (Shams) free zone, United Arab Emirates, and the company named on the pass (the "Client").
- Who uses the pass. The person who signs in accepts these terms for the Client. That person must be authorised to do so.
- What they cover. Special Client Access ("access") is a prepaid, time-limited pass. It lets the Client search ALM's talent database itself and ask chosen talents, through ALM, for their contact details.
- Other terms that also apply. ALM's client terms and privacy notice for visitors and clients.
2. Passes and prices
| Pass | Length | Price | Contact reveals included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day pass | 24 hours | **[the price shown when you buy the pass]** | [15] |
| Week pass | 7 days | **[the price shown when you buy the pass]** | [50] |
- Custom passes and extensions. ALM may agree a custom pass or an extension, for example more time, in writing.
- VAT. Prices are [inclusive / exclusive] of UAE VAT [ALM's accountant to confirm; tax invoices are issued by ALM].
- Changes to the pass. Changing a pass type later does not affect a pass that has already been issued.
3. How you get a pass
- Request. You request access using ALM's "Request access" form, or by contacting ALM.
- Vetting. ALM checks your company and your project before it issues a pass. ALM may refuse a request without giving reasons. Nothing is charged until ALM approves you.
- Payment. ALM sends you a secure Stripe payment link, or agrees another payment method such as a bank transfer. ALM never sees your full card number.
- Invitation. Once payment is received, ALM emails an invitation. You set a password, which the link allows for 72 hours. Then you accept these terms. Two-step sign-in is optional.
4. When your pass starts and ends
- Start. The pass clock starts when you first sign in, unless ALM agreed a fixed start time with you.
- Activation deadline. You must first sign in within 30 days of the pass being issued. If you do not, the pass lapses. ALM may choose to reactivate it.
- No pausing. Once started, the pass runs continuously, whether or not you are signed in. It cannot be paused.
- Warnings. A countdown is shown in the header. You are warned 10 minutes and 1 minute before the end.
- Automatic expiry. When the time is up:
- access ends automatically;
- every session is signed out;
- your sign-in is switched off. Sign-in then shows *"Your access ended on {date}"*.
- Your account after expiry. It is kept, switched off, so ALM can renew it and review past activity. A renewal adds a new pass to the same account.
- Contacts already shared. They stay in the emails ALM sent you. A contact request made before expiry can still be answered by the talent, and you receive the result by email.
5. What you can see and do
- Search. You can search profiles in ALM's Special Client Access pool:
- active profiles claimed by the talent;
- whose owners consented to sharing with clients;
- that ALM has marked as client-ready.
- What you see. You see more than the public showcase: extra photos and reels, measurements, skills, languages, city, age range and public-safe comp cards.
- Private shortlist. You may keep a private shortlist inside your account to organise your requests.
- What you never see. Contact details (unless the talent agrees to share them with you), exact dates of birth, rates, ALM's internal notes or ratings, or other clients' activity.
6. Contact request rules
- One request per talent. You ask for one talent at a time. Each request must give the project or production, the role, the shoot date(s) and a budget band.
- Your promise with each request. You tick: "I will contact {talent's first name} only about this project, as the client access terms say."
- Contact request quota. Each request uses one contact request from your pass. If the request ends without a share, the contact request goes back to your pass. You cannot ask twice for the same talent.
- The talent decides. ALM checks each request and either passes it on to the talent or declines it. The talent sees your company, the project, the role, the dates and the budget, and accepts or declines. Contact details are shared only when the talent accepts. ALM never shares a talent's contact details without the talent's yes, and does not have to pass on any request.
- No answer, or not available. A talent who does not answer within 7 days is treated as not available. Talents may also choose not to share their contact details with self-cast clients; requests for them are declined. In every case you only see "Not available": ALM does not tell you why.
- What is shared. When the talent accepts, you see the details the talent agreed to share (for example email, phone or WhatsApp) in "My contacts", and ALM also emails them to you. Rates are shared only if they were part of the request the talent accepted.
- The talent is told. The talent knows that your company received their contact details, and for which project. A talent can report a client to ALM; see §9.
- Booking is direct. You agree the work, the dates and the fee with the talent directly. The booking is between you and the talent; ALM is not part of it and takes no booking fee.
- Use of the contact details. You may contact the talent only about the named project. You must not:
- add them to mailing or marketing lists;
- pass their details to anyone outside the named production;
- contact them again for unrelated work without their agreement.
- Your data protection duties. From the moment you receive the contact details, you are responsible for them under data protection law. You must:
- keep them secure;
- use them lawfully and only for the project;
- delete them when the project is over [or within [X] months; lawyer to set];
- respect any request from the talent to stop contacting them.
7. No export and no misuse
You must not:
- export or bulk-save any data. This covers CSV or spreadsheet export, mass download, "select all", and screenshots or copies made to build a database;
- scrape, crawl or use bots, scripts or any automated access;
- share your sign-in. Access is personal to the named user, and only one active session is allowed. Signing in on a new device signs out the old one;
- use any photos, videos or data to train or test AI systems;
- contact talents other than through the contact details they agreed to share with you, or try to find their contact details another way;
- share comp cards or other material except within your production, for the named project.
8. Monitoring and logs
To protect talents, ALM records how the pass is used:
- What is recorded:
- sign-ins, devices and IP addresses;
- searches and the filters used;
- profiles viewed, videos played and comp cards downloaded;
- contact requests and ALM's decisions.
- New devices. A sign-in from a new device or country is emailed to you and to ALM.
- Automatic pause. Unusual activity pauses the pass automatically and alerts ALM. An example is about 150 profiles viewed in one hour, or repeated rate-limit hits. ALM may resume or end the pass.
- How long records are kept. Activity records are kept for 12 months. Contact-reveal records are kept for 24 months, because they show who received whose details [proposed].
9. Suspension and ending
ALM may pause or end access at once, without a refund, if:
- you breach these terms;
- ALM sees unusual activity;
- a payment is disputed or charged back.
ALM may also end access if the law requires it.
10. Refunds
[TBD. **Proposed wording:** "Paid time runs continuously from first login and is not refundable once started. A pass that has not been started can be refunded if you ask within 14 days of payment." The owner and lawyer must confirm.]
11. ALM's responsibility
- The service. Access is provided "as is".
- What ALM does not guarantee. ALM does not guarantee:
- that talents are available;
- that profile details are accurate;
- how a talent will behave;
- the outcome of a booking that you arrange directly with a talent.
- Direct bookings. A booking you make directly with a talent is between you and the talent. ALM takes no booking fee.
- Liability cap. [To be drafted by the lawyer.]
12. General
- Changes. ALM may update these terms. You will be asked to accept the new version at your next sign-in.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates [Emirate and courts or arbitration to be set by the lawyer].
